So, this all started with a single line in my head:

The first time the thief struck, it barely made the news.

Everyone at Halcyon High knew Ava Sterling.

In the city of Gorgothon.

I blinked. Slowly. Like maybe, just maybe, this wasn’t happening.

A story of a time traveler and an immortal who keeps finding her — again and again.

It started, as these things often do, on a Tuesday.
